Your privacy.

Effective October 13, 2026

Icarus is a project by Stone Yang. This notice explains the information collected by this waitlist.

When you join

We store your email address, the time and wording version of your consent, and any campaign tags or referring website that brought you here. We use your email only for the Icarus launch and early-access updates you agree to receive. Joining is optional, and we do not sell your information.

The waitlist currently uses single opt-in: your signup is saved without an email verification step. No confirmation email is sent automatically. Your private unsubscribe link is shown after a new signup; save it if you would like to remove yourself before our first email.

Anonymous site measurements

We count page views and form interactions, including starts, attempts, errors and successful new signups. We also measure campaign source, referring hostname, broad device category and country when available. These are daily aggregate counts, not a record of your browsing history. We do not use advertising pixels, analytics cookies or persistent visitor identifiers, and we do not send your email to analytics.

Security and storage

Our hosting and database services process information to operate the site. Subscriber records are available only through an owner-authorized dashboard and export. To reduce automated abuse, we briefly retain keyed hashes derived from network addresses in rate-limit counters. Raw IP addresses are not stored in our application database; hosting services may process network request metadata to deliver and protect the site.

Retention and unsubscribe

We retain your email while you remain subscribed. Using your private unsubscribe link and confirming removal deletes your email and campaign details from the waitlist. We retain a keyed email hash, consent and removal timestamps, and a token hash to honor your unsubscribe and prevent accidental re-enrollment. Aggregate analytics older than 13 months are deleted during subsequent measured traffic; records can remain longer if the site is inactive. Expired rate-limit counters are removed during subsequent traffic, normally within two days.

Every future marketing email must include a way to unsubscribe. You can also request access, correction or deletion, or withdraw your consent, by contacting Stone Yang. If you did not sign up yourself, contact us to remove the record. A suppressed address is not automatically reactivated by a new form submission.
